Book Quotes to Love in 2022 (Part One)

A great quote can be found almost anywhere there are words.

Hello, you strange, wonderful people.

I did a post similar to this at the end of last year and it ended up quite a bit more popular with everyone than I expected.. (Guess I’m not the only one who appreciates a good quote) so I decided that I would do it again this year, only now I’ll be breaking it up into two parts.
One, this one, will be posted now around mid-year and the other at the end of the year.

Now, not all of these quotes were chosen for the same reason..
Some are beautiful, some inspiring, a few may even feel like they’re meant for you, while others are just entertaining.
You never know what will stick with you, really grab your attention, until it’s right there in front of you.

So go ahead..
Look. See. Read. And enjoy!

“I though only of that old Stones song ‘Paint It Black’. I’m sure you know it. Melancholic, but not without elegance. The feeling that grief might have some kind of grace wrought from it”
The Heights by Louise Candlish

“She imagined seeing herself as just another brilliant freak of nature. Just another sentient animal, trying their best.
And in doing so, she imagined what it was like to be free.”

I love that you compiled all of these Sheri! My fav one is the one about it being okay from The Maid – it’s so sentimental!
