The good and the bad..
Dear blogging community,
I’ve been blogging for three years now (crazy, I know!) and in that time I’ve watched you reach out to one another, encouraging each other, and supporting not only other blogs—but the person behind them. You’ve shared your burdens, successes, passions, and stories. And I just have to say..
I am astonished and grateful, every day, that this community we’re a part of actually exists. It’s all of the beauty the world needs right now. Honesty. Consideration. Compassion. People with different voices, from all over the world, all coming together to share what we love.
You are all amazing and I am genuinely happy to have met you and had the pleasure of being a part of your journey.
Unfortunately, I can’t find it in me to celebrate.
I started this blog as a member of Amazon Affiliates, a choice that now has me reevaluating whether or not I will continue blogging.
Thanks to changes they have made to their affiliates program, any and all Sitestripe images and images+text have been shut down/wiped out/discontinued. However you say it.. what’s done is done. For me, this means nearly 450 posts have been effected, but for others? I can’t imagine.
Due to this, and other reasons, I will be taking a hiatus—either to rebuild what I can of my site or to figure out my next step.
I hope it leads me back here, to the endless unread and undiscovered stories that wait, but whatever my decision ends up being.. I will be sure to let you know.
Thank you so much for your patience and support these last three years, may there be many more to come.

Oh man happy blogaversary, but with bittersweet sadness too. How stressful that so many past posts have been affected.
Sorry to hear this, Sheri. It is terrible what Amazon has been doing. They deleted all my reviews and will no longer let me post, but won’t give me a reason why. I will continue to post to my blog though. I hope you figure out a way to come back.
