22 Lovely Book Covers that Feature Red Hair
Why? Because it’s March, St. Patrick’s day is just around the corner, and I have a soft spot for redheads..

Fact vs Fiction:

  1. Red hair is due to some kind of genetic mutation.. Fact.
  2. Redheads have a temper and are more ‘hot headed’.. Fiction. (I married one.. so I know this isn’t always the case.)
  3. Redheads take up less than 2% of the population.. Fact.
  4. It’s said that those with red hair are soulless.. Fiction. Probably.

Fun stuff, right?

Let’s, for just a moment, remember that each and every one of us is rare. Whether it be a genetic mutation, a natural gift, or an interest in juggling cucumbers on Tuesdays at sundown.. we have something wholly unique to us.

I’m finally going to be able to do normal teenage stuff I’ve been missing out on. Right?

Well, if this one bitch of a ghost could leave me alone on campus that would be great. Especially since I haven’t told my new friends about my abilities. Can you believe this? Five good looking guys practically adopt me on my first day of school, and I still think they’re a bit nuts for it. Now if I can only just keep my life with the dead from mixing with my normal life, everything would be great. Yeah…I don’t see that happening either. But I’m going to give it a shot. Who knows? It might work.

It’s a ghost, and it’s more powerful than the Goodnights and all their protective spells combined. It wants something from Amy, and none of her carefully built defenses can hold it back.

This is the summer when the wall between Amy’s worlds is going to come crashing down.

    1. Sheri Dye

I’m trying to say that red hair is lovely in a way that doesn’t make me sound like a creeper.. and it’s actually a lot harder than you’d think. Either way, yes, it’s pretty on covers. 😅😵‍💫😂

  3. Leah's Books

I love this! We’ve got some redheads in my family so I liked your fact/fiction section. And I’m always pulled to covers with redheads on them!

Redheads are kind of a big deal in my family.. Then I married one and got an orange cat. Now it’s practically a “thing” around here. 😂🤣

        Haha! That’s awesome

        1. Sheri Dye

Lol. Right? I guess I could attract worse things. 😆

  4. Carla

What a great post, Sheri. Interesting most books with red heads seem to be fantasy or paranormal. I have lots of gingers in my family, so I agree with your comments, they aren’t anymore feisty or emotional than the rest of the family.

    1. Sheri Dye

Thank you, Carla, I’m glad you liked it!
And I did notice how many fantasy books like using red head. (Probably because of that alleged fiery temper.) I do know a few who can be seriously quick to anger but we just like to call them passionate. 🤫😂
