A quick thank you to the bloggers, authors, and books that have made this year just a little bit brighter.
Many of us come from different countries, have varying belief systems, opinions, hopes and dreams..
But all of the things that make us different from one another.. is also what makes us unique.
Still.. we share common interests, goals, and preferences.
We share the love of books.
We support, lean on, and help each other.
This is something I am grateful for this Thanksgiving.
I know a lot of you won’t be celebrating with us but.. I would still like to say how happy I am to have met you on this crazy, beautiful blogging journey.
Where ever you may be, what ever your beliefs.. Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful this year for..
My husband, who has put up with my crap with more patience than I probably deserve.
Family, Friends, and our furry ones.
Faith, determination, and resilience.
Personal growth.
Holding on, letting go, and know when to do which.
There’s so much in every day that I have to be thankful for and so much I take for granted.. but I am blessed always.
These Authors:
These are just a few of the amazing authors that I had the pleasure of being introduced to this year, fell in love with, and can’t wait to read more from!
These Quotes:
“For us, places we went were home. We didn’t care if they were good or evil or neutral or what. We cared about the fact that for the first time, we didn’t have to pretend to be something we weren’t. We just got to be. That made all the difference in the world.” – Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
“That’s the thing about hearts. They don’t get put back together, not really. They just get patched. But the damage is still there.” – Broken Things by Lauren Oliver
“A strong and brave heart isn’t enough. A true heart, no matter how much the truth hurts, is the strongest of all.” – Insanity by Cameron Jace
“That was what magic did. It revealed the heart of who you’d been before life took away your belief in the possible. It gave back the world all lonely children longed for.” – Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
“I held him like the world had spun away beneath me, and I was left to dance with the stars, not mortal any longer but a creature made of moonlight and magic.” – Echo North by Joanna Ruth Meyer

Thank you for restoring my hope for humanity’s future.
This year has been full of new experiences.
Some good..
Like trying new things, reaching new goals, meeting strange and interesting people.
But we have also been faced with a lot of unpleasantness.
Everyone’s struggled through their own personal issues at home. Economies have crashed. And the world we grew had grown accustomed to has.. shifted. Change is an almost constant companion and while most have managed to keep their heads above water.. many have not.
Life will find a way to balance out.
We will reach a new ‘normal’.
The pandemic will pass.
And we will persevere.
But until then?
Stay safe and Hang in there.
And a Happy Turkey Day to you and your loved ones.
Thank you so much.. We had such a beautiful day. 💕
Happy Thanksgiving, Sheri. I am thankful every day for all my blessings. This is such a wonderful post, I hope it makes people think about what they are thankful for. I am also thankful for you! Enjoy your day. 🧡🤗
Thank you, we had a lovely day.. I hope you did as well.
And it can be nice to have a reminder.. I know I forget sometimes just how much there is to be grateful for every day.
Stay safe! ❤️
Happy thanksgiving to you as well Sheri! I am thankful to have met you through this blog as well, have a blessed day ahead. 💖
Beautiful weather, lots of love, fantastic food, and the time to share it.. I am blessed, thank you. I hope you enjoyed your day as well. ☺️
Sounds like quite a lovely day 🌸
You’re most welcome, and yes I had a great day as well thank you 😇💖
It really was.. Family (born or made) is so important.
And I’m so glad to hear that! Are you enjoying your weekend? It’s getting quite cold.
How true, family is important(born or made).
Yeah I took a little vaccation last week now I’m back to work and also in a very high Christmas Spirit 😁
I’m starting to put up trees and lights 😄
It’s always rough getting back into a work routine after time off.. especially around the holidays. Best of luck!
And that must be exciting.. (Decorating everything with shiny stuff and sparkly thing is one of the best parts.) Do you have a theme or do you keep it more traditional?
I know I should start with ours.. but I’m a bit of a Grinch this year. 🤫
It is, thank you so much.
It is super exciting, I’m going towards a golden theme this year. From lights to decors everything golden 😁
Haha… This year I’m going all out since I didn’t get the chance to last year.
You’re very welcome.
And that sounds beautiful. I always have a hard time choosing between the silvers and golds.. They both make such lovely Christmas decorations.
Good luck! I bet it’s going to be stunning!
I know right, silver is also a superb theme for Christmas. Even I have a hard time choosing in but then I saw a golden leaf at Amazon and I wanted that so badly so.. the rest is history 😁
Thank you so much, may be I’ll make a post on it when I’m finally done 🙂
Mine was snowflakes. I saw these gorgeous silver snowflakes and it snowballed from there. 😅
It’s my pleasure.. I was actually going to ask if you thought you’d be sharing photos but wasn’t sure if that was weird or intrusive. I can’t wait to see it!
That sounds lovely, I love snowflakes 🙂
As soon as all my parcels arrive from amazon I’ll share it for sure 🤗
There really is so much about Christmas to love!
Also, thank you, hearing your wonderful plans has made me want to get more excited about the holidays!
There is indeed, glad to spread the excitement 😁🤗
I know I’m grateful for the positivity. 💖😊
Have fun decorating!
Thank you, have fun you too 😊
My pleasure! We finally dragged out the tree.. and are currently enjoying our cat’s enthusiastic interest in everything shiny. 😆
That would be a sight to watch. 😄
Still waiting for some lights to reach to complete my decors 😊
Ours will be a simple Christmas this year but.. with a cat around? It’s never boring. 😆
Fun! Christmas lights are one of my favorite parts! I’m hoping we’ll be able to get out and see some of the shows/competitions.
Do you view the lights in your area?
That sure would be fun to watch 😁
The place I live there’s not where Christmas is celebrated grandly so sadly no lights in display outside.
Oh, it is! Animals truly are a gift to be treasured.
And I can understand that.. Where we live now we would have to drive quite a ways to get anywhere interesting. It’s a shame to miss out though.
It’s okay though there’s church decors and I’m making sure I have the full lightings at home 🙂
That’s all you really need for a bright and lovely Christmas. ☺
It is 🙂 I’ve just posted my Christmas decors as promised 🙂
Yes! I must go see.. Hold on! pops on over
Yesss 😁
The decorations really turn out gorgeously!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it 🙂
My pleasure! I really did! And it gave me a small burst of energy I needed to do a little of my own decorating. 😊💕
I look forward to seeing your decors 🙂💖
Thank you. So do I. 🤭
Little by little..
You’re tree was amazing 👌
Thank you! I love how each tree is as different and unique as we are. ☺
Yes thats so true. 👍❤️
A lovely Thanksgiving post, Sheri. And thanks so much for the shout out. I’m grateful! Beautiful list of things your thankful for, and I loved the quotes. Have a wonderful day with those you lovel
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it and I really appreciate your kind words! I’m more than happy to show support and thanks in any way I can!
And we had a beautiful day, thank you, I hope you did as well. 💕
We did. Very quiet, but sometimes that’s just what’s needed. 🙂
That’s so great.. I can understand quiet sometimes being what’s needed. I come from a big family of very opinionated people and quiet was (and still is) a very rare thing. I now appreciate the beauty in silence. 🤭
Lol. A big Thanksgiving does sound fun though. 🙂
I think that relies heavily on everyone being on their best behaviour.. Which is rare. 😅
Aww, happy Thanksgiving to you too! I hope you had a great day 😀
We had such an amazing day, thank you! Did you have a good time?
