Poetry that touches the heart.
Welcome, everyone!
I would like to personally congratulate fellow blogger and friend, Daphny @ The introvert writer, on the release of her first book of poems, Write Out Loud.
I can’t imagine how much you put into making this happen and I’m so happy for you!
(I’m also very grateful for the time you took to help me obtain a physical copy of this book.
We may have run into a few snags getting it here but it was well worth it!)
That said, I’m not sure I’ll be entirely impartial here..
I’ve never reviewed a friend’s work before and it may be difficult for me to separate the person from the writing, still, these are my honest opinions.
Enjoy!

Write Out Loud by Daphny Nianghoi
Publication date:
Pages: 22
Genre: Poetry
Standalone
This beautiful collection of poems is raw, relatable, and apologetically human.
Daphny writes with this deep sense of vulnerability that few of us can express and fewer would share.
“This is who I am,
—This Is Me
These are the different shades of me,
unfiltered.”
There were a few editing errors (sorry, hun!) but they were easily overlooked for me.
I was swept away by how much emotion each poem evoked in me—pride, understanding, laughter, heartbreak—it’s almost too much.
A book of confessions, that’s what this is, a bearing of the soul.
“She felt like a bird,
—Ruthless World
whose wings were wrenched,
by the cruelty of this world.”
Genuinely moving, unmistakably sincere, and absolutely worth reading.
Would I recommend this book? Yes.
Anyone who puts this much heart and soul into their work deserves our support.
(But if you order a physical copy.. don’t do it during a hurricane.)
About the Author:
Daphny Nianghoi was born and raised in the North-Eastern Indian state, Manipur; Lab. Technician by profession and writer by passion. Growing up, being more of an introverted kid was hard on her; she didn’t know how to express her feelings and emotions physically or verbally. That is how she fell in love with writing, as it helped her express herself with no limitations and gave her peace and comfort with a world of her own where she could let her imaginations run wild. Besides writing, she loves to read every free time she gets and is also a big foodie.
Thanks so much for checking out this post!

giant breath of relief Ohmygosh.. I had no idea how stressful it would be to write this! I’m so glad you like it.
Your poetry had me so emotional, hun, there may have even been some sniffles. Several times I wanted to (in a completely not creepy way) hug you.
I can’t wait to see what you do next. ❤️❤️❤️
