Random thoughts and a short poem for the season..

“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” ―F.

Welcome!

The world is constantly changing around us. Shifting.
Devastating Tsunamis. Hurricanes. Tornadoes. Fires. Record breaking temperatures. Waters rising. Those are only the beginning of what we’ve faced these last few years.

We live atop a sleeping giant that may just be waking and we are not prepared.

It makes me anxious to know we cannot count on the familiar patterns in Nature that we’ve grown to know and love. That we’re guessing at what’s to come. That there is no preparing for it.

And so I say.. Whatever tomorrow bringslet it be good.

Change whispers through the dreaming trees
The Air—it heeds my call
And leaves discard their Summer sleeves
This—to me—is Fall.

Ooh.. Agreed! I love it when everything starts coming alive. You can practically feel the world waking up. But there’s just something so peaceful about Fall..

I love summer because I spend so much time outside, swimming and working in my garden.

That makes sense.. Those aren’t activities I’d want to be doing a lot of during Winter.

I have noticed so many changes in the weather recently and particularly this year. It barely rained when it was supposed to and now there are droughts everywhere. Love the poem!

This is true. A lot of major water sources have been hit hard this year and some places are already or have begun rationing. What really concerns me is how many people are without homes going into what scientists have predicted will be a vicious winter.
Thank you! I hope you’re feeling better!

Yeah that’s really sad. And I heard a lot of shelters have begun closing down too. I wonder how those people will survive.
        I’m better now, thank you!

It’s heartbreaking.. but not everyone will. All we can do is keep our hearts open and pray for them.
–On a happier note.. Yay! I’m happy for you!

            Yes, absolutely. 💕
