⭐⭐⭐⭐

Follow the brave Theodore on his mission to save his lovely neighbour, Jane, from becoming a serial killer’s next victim..
But what can one cat do?

Meet Theodore, a five-year-old tuxedo cat who lives a happy, comfortable life.. for the most part.
You see, his owner is a serial killer and, despite his loyalty to the man who rescued him from the streets, Theodore’s desperate to save the poor women that he targets.

Theodore is not only lovable but so very courageous. He truly does care for Dean, his owner, despite his being a murderer.. but that love doesn’t prevent him from trying his hardest to warn the women Dean stalks. You feel so much of Theodore’s determination and helplessness, it’s consuming, and you’ll find yourself rooting for this sweet little cat to succeed.

Dean’s handsome, charming, and calculated. The perfect disguise. And while it’s hard to dislike another cat person, especially when the cat is so well cared for, Dean’s not the likable sort but everything about him suits his role.

The author’s done such a brilliant job with the characters here that it was easy to get caught up in their story. The rollercoaster of emotions drawn out by the hopes and fears of this small, brave cat, the woman he wishes to protect, and the killer who prizes them both was intense.
And I loved it.

I did feel like their was a lot of potential for this story to go further than it did—so I am a little disappointed—but I’m happy I picked it up and look forward to reading more by this author in the future.

I would definitely recommend this book.
It’s a fast paced, short read that animal people, cat lovers, mystery fans, those intrigued by the minds of serial killers, and many others—are going to love.

Thank you for checking out my review, I hope you enjoyed it!

The sign of a good book is that you don’t want it to end!

Agreed! With the really good ones I like to imagine what comes next.. keep their stories going. Is that weird?
