“Live your life as if it were a book.. that would be banned.”
Welcome!
I’m so excited to share this post today!
Some of you know this last weekend was my birthday and for me this usually means a couple of good books and a quiet day with family. This year we wanted to do something a little different and explore one of the parks “nearby.” It was all planned out. Then, last minute, my husband discovered that my favorite used book store was closing and being the awesome person he is.. he scrapped the plan and took me there instead.
For almost two hours this sweet non-reader followed me around, carrying my swiftly growing stack of books, without a single complaint.
So, despite the loss of an amazing book store and the wonderful people who owned it, it was definitely among my top 3 favorite birthdays.
Below are the books I managed to scavenge from the stacks.. there was a good amount of restraint exercized here.
You’ll never believe we got them all for less than 25$.

Awww…it sounds like you had a very sweet birthday. How amazing of your husband to be that aware of what you’d enjoy. And what an excellent book haul!
Wow that is some haul, all right! I’m practically drooling. And happy belated birthday 🙂
Happy birthday. That is a fantastic gift for a bookworm. Shame the store is closing though.
This is an amazing haul!
