The End of the Year Book Tag: 2023

The year may be ending but the reading stops.

Welcome!

Time is disappearing and I haven’t a clue where it’s gone but we best get in as many reads as we can this year before we’re off on whatever adventures next year has in store.

Unfortunately, I’ve had a bit of a head cold and found myself without a post prepared so I was very happy to find this great tag @ Kristin Kraves Books. Below are a whole host of books I’ve been excited to dive in to and can’t wait to share with all of you.
Will they all get finished this year or get added to next year’s ever-growing pile? Who knows.. but it will be fun finding out.

Enjoy!

Anthology

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

The Fiction Writer by Jillian Cantor
Shards of Glass by Michelle Sagara
Make Me a Liar by Melissa Landers

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Starling House by Alix E. Harrow
Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong
Scorpio by Marko Kloos

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Any of the books in this post, really. They all sound like killer reads that could easily become a new favorite.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2024?

Oh, absolutely.
One thing I plan to do in 2024 is continue with/catch up on the handful of series I’ve started.
A few examples would be:

Two Twisted Crowns (Book 2) of by Rachel Gillig
Hell Bent (Book 2) by Leigh Bardugo
What Feasts at Night (Book 2) by T. Kingfisher

And that’s that.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed the books.
Stay safe, be well, and happy reading!

I love this tag (and your answers). I keep thinking I’m going to have a go and then forgetting- my tiny brain! I will do this before the end of the year. Yes. Absolutely. I will.
