Check Out these Young Adult ‘Why Choose?’ book series

Five Mini-reviews of some great Reverse-harem romances.

“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”

All of these books are the first in a series.

There are quite a few reverse harem stories out there right now and, while options are what we want, we still need to be able to find what we’re looking for. Some harem stories can tend to just fall flat.. but don’t be fooled, some bring a whole new meaning to the word ‘fantasy’.

Warning! While these are all considered YA you may come across sexual situations, abuse, foul language, violence, and poor life choices. Enjoy!

Four Psychos by Kristy Cunning

She may be dead, she may not, but either way?
Challenge accepted.

Who are the four men she can’t seem to escape from?
Why can’t anyone see her?
And why can’t she remember who she is?
It’s hard when you think you’re dead and appear to be metaphysically bound to a group of gorgeous jackholes.. but when this sexually frustrated ghost isn’t so invisible anymore, things really get interesting.

Five Stars!

This is literally one of my favorite series. It’s a ridiculously hilarious, enemies-to-lovers romance, with fun and interesting characters that will have you devouring this series in no time!

Introductions: The Ghost Bird Series by C. L. Stone

She’s stronger than you think.

Sang is more quiet than outspoken.. but don’t let that fool you. Our sweet main character has a well of strength that reaches gently around you heart and draws you in. Years of neglect and abuse have not worn down the light inside this young woman, no, and as she gets sucked into the lives of her new neighbor and his six friends she’s going to need all the help she can get.

She knows they’re hiding something.. but what?

Five Stars!

This series kind of reminds me of ‘The Raven Boys‘ series, but only in the way they are with one another. These books stand out in a big way because of the relationships between the characters.

Charcoal Tears by Jane Washington

She’s a survivor.

Things have never been easy for Seraph. Take care of her brother and survive high school, that’s the plan. Throw in a whole lot mystery, a handful of magic, and suddenly her life is chaos.
With strange and unexplainable events happening around her and some new guys in her life.. she’s about to find out that maybe she has more power than she ever dreamed.

Five Stars!

This one was just a great combination of good writing, interesting characters, great pacing, and an absorbing storyline. Just? Okay, so, maybe not ‘just’.. The author did a fantastic job accomplishing all of that.

Phoenix by Autumn Reed

He prepared her for this.

It’s Haley’s eighteenth birthday and she just wants to be a normal girl. She’s used to it just being her, her dad, and his secrets. Until the day someone came after them, blew up her home, and changed everything. Now her dad’s missing and a group of young men are determined to keep her safe.

Why are they helping her and will it be enough?

Four and a Half Stars!

I always feel a little petty taking away half a star when I enjoyed a book and, really, there isn’t a lot wrong with this series.. I think my biggest issue was that it was hard to believe some of the decisions these characters made but, all in all, it doesn’t distract from enjoying the story.

Trying to Live With the Dead by B.L. Brunnemer

If you think the living are bad, wait until the dead get involved.

Yea, she can see and talk to ghosts.. but that just might be what kills her. Alexis just moved in with her uncle, a new town, and a new start. Maybe, just maybe, the dearly departed will leave her alone this time. But when a ghost at school starts getting aggressive, a normal life becomes less likely, until she finds herself adopted by five boys who don’t seem to mind that weird crap keeps happening around her.

But how will they react when they learn the truth?

Four and a Half Stars!

I love ghost stories and am fascinated by the entire idea of psychic gifts.. all that potential chaos.
This story is a wonderful blending of both and many other things I enjoy for a good reading experience. The deducted half star is for potential growth and room for improvement because, while I did like this series a lot, I left some room for a little more development in the characters. They’re young.

Well.. That’s it for now! I really hope you enjoyed this post and find something that will interest you!
