Now for the ‘Info Dump’ Book tag!

It asks. I answered. Time to get to know this blogger a little better with a book tag info dump.

Hello, everyone!

I saw this on Amanda and Antonia @ Classy x Book Reviews page was originally created @ Books & Chocaholic, and found its way to me.

This tag seemed like a really fantastic way to get to know other readers and to share a bit about myself.. So, here goes nothing!

1. How many books on average do you read per month?

Currently? Anywhere between five and twenty.. depending on responsibilities and circumstances.

2. How many books are on your TBR?

Well over a thousand. Probably even two.. on Goodreads. My Amazon and physical TBR make the number impossible to keep up with and just a little ridiculous..

What can I say? I like books.

3. How are your books organized on your shelves?

At the moment they’re being packed into boxes, which is a tragedy all it’s own. Normally.. I like to organize by author and genre.

4. Which genres do you read the most from?

Psychological/Suspense right now. Previously I was on a reverse harem kick. I guess it really depends on my mood but.. if I had to pick Just One? I’d have to go with Fantasy.

5. Which genres do you own the most of?

It’s a pretty close toss up between Fantasy and Suspense.

Bonus points if it’s both.

6. Which is your preferred format of reading (eBook, physical, audiobook)?

I love real, physical, hold in your hands and smell the paper books. But in recent years, I’ve come to appreciate the variety and convenience with ebooks.

7. Who is your most owned author?

Hmm.. That’s tough. Without unpacking them all and actually counting, there’s no real way to know but, I would say it’s between Iris Johansen and Dean Koontz.

8. Describe your favorite writing style:

I think one of the best examples of remarkable writing is Seanan McGuire. Her writing style flows beautifully across the page with such richly descriptive world building and characters that it’s a pleasure to become entranced by her stories.

9. Which literary devices do you like/dislike?

I like a good plot twist you never see coming. I want to be shocked, kept on the edge of my seat, have my whole world shaken.

10. Which character archetypes do you enjoy?

The Hero. Make the character a snarky female who kicks some serious butt and doesn’t instantly fall for the usual love interest.. I’m there.

11. What are your favorite book settings?

There are so many other things I’m looking for that the setting really doesn’t matter as much to me. If the writing is on point and the characters are done well.. they could be anywhere.

12. What are your favorite tropes?

If it even is a trope.? I’m a big fan of the unreliable narrator. It’s quite fun to be kept in the dark and curious. I feel driven by the need for answers.

That’s it!

Hopefully, you enjoyed getting to know me a little better. This is certainly not one of my more exciting posts but.. We all have those days/weeks/what month is it again?

That’s so nice to hear.. it’s so frustrating when the characters fall for each other immediately.
      Thank you!
