These 15 Halloween appropriate films and television shows are a blast from the past!
It’s always ever almost time or almost over but, either way, let’s enjoy what we can!
I know, I know, this is a book blog. So.. why, you ask, am I doing movies?
Because it’s my favorite time of year and I plan on tapping every last spooky, kooky, or creepy topic I possibly can.
Now, I’m seeing everyone already starting on their Christmas movie and book list, and I think that’s just a bit too early for me so.. Here are some movies and television shows to think about for Halloween.
(Fair warning: Not all of these may be appropriate for much younger kids.. then again, who knows?)

The Nightmare Before Christmas
(Halloween or Christmas, either one works.)
“There’s children throwing snowballs, instead of throwing heads, they’re busy building toys and absolutely no one’s dead.”

(This one probably isn’t for all ages..)

Every story ever told can be divided into three distinctive parts: the beginning, the middle, and the twist.
“You remind me of the babe.”
“What babe?”
“The babe with the power”
“What power?”
“Power of vodoo.”
“Who do?”
“You do”
“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”
(Any or all of them. I prefer the 90’s movies.. but the 2019, and soon to be released in 2021, animated films are more modern and family friendly.)

Whether you enjoy Halloween or not.. These fantastic movies may take you down memory lane or to meet a cast full of new magical friends.
